Happy birthday, Elvis Presley! This beautiful man, born in a tiny home in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935, paved the way for the rock ‘n roll music we love today. “Thank you very much,” Elvis, for sharing your talents with us. At 82 in Heaven, you live in our hearts forever! I’m grateful that you inspired me to write Waking Up in Graceland and meet so many wonderful people in the Elvis world.

January 8, 2017 also marks two years since we published this Elvis story. Thanks to all of the readers, and independent book stores, for your support and reviews! The sequel to Waking Up in Graceland (title TBA) is in the works!
